Abstract

Endometriosis is a common disease of reproductive-age women, which has complex pathogenesis. The lesions are extensive, highly invasive and recurrent, presenting malignant clinical behaviour.MicroRNA(miRNA) plays an important role in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of cell growth and development process.miRNA may involve in the regulation of adhesion, invasion, cell proliferation and angiogenesis, playing an important role in malignant transformation of endometriosis. With the development of antisense technology and gene therapy,miRNA is expected to become a new strategy in endometriosis diagnosis and treatment.
