(YTB Burslarının Gücü: Türkiye'de Finansal Destek ve Akademik Güçlendirme Yoluyla Geleceğin Liderlerini Şekillendirmek) Dr Milad Stanikzai, Doç. Dr. Yusuf Tepeli This is a preprint; it has not been peer reviewed by a journal. https://doi.org/ 10.21203/rs.3.rs-6604778/v1 This work is licensed under a CC BY 4.0 License Status: Posted Version 1 posted You are reading this latest preprint version Abstract International scholarships are a crucial instrument in mobilizing international educational mobility, personal development, and cross-cultural exchange. The current study examines the financial experience, administrative support quality, career aspirations, and standard of living among international students pursuing studies in Türkiye Scholarships (YTB) programs. Using in-field observation and quantitative design, data were collected from 241 respondents across 16 Turkish cities and analyzed by Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation testing. The findings reveal that students' financial assistance significantly reduces education barriers and improves career hopefulness but financial difficulty still persists for a large minority specifically at the Bachelor's level. Administrative support services and YTB communication were generally perceived as having a positive effect on them; however, dorm placement problems, bank accessibility by minors, and immigration coordination emerged as significant concerns. These findings support aspects of Human Capital Theory and Financial Stress Theory but also unveil operational loopholes found in Push-Pull Migration Theory. This research offers a number of new contributions in that it is the first to identify the significant role of administrative systems and institutional responsiveness in forming scholarship experiences. On the basis of these broad findings, this research makes obvious recommendations to build YTB's program design stronger, improve student satisfaction, and inform future international scholarship policies.
