Abstract
General anesthesia is an important clinical treatment drug.General anesthesia is the result of the mixed interaction between a variety of nonspecific drugs and multiple targets in the nervous system. Preclinical studies have shown that cognitive impairment and behavioral abnormalities in rodents persist into adulthood after exposure to anesthesia, revealing the potential neurotoxicity of anaesthetic drugs.Studies have shown that neonatal rats exposed to sevoflurane increase the concentration of Cl − in neurons, leading to the depolarization of GABA receptor and neurotoxicity, which eventually leads to the impairment of spatial learning and memory in rats, indicating that anesthetics may produce neurotoxicity through ion channels, but the specific mechanism is not clear.So far, ion channel has been identified as one of the molecular targets of general anesthetics.General anaesthesia drugs have been shown to affect sodium, potassium and calcium channels.Changes in these ion channels can cause neurotoxicity that can affect the nervous system.In this paper, the effects of general anesthetics on nervous system were discussed from the changes of ion channels.
