Abstract

Objective: To study diagnostic and recur value of serum CA125 on malignant ovarian tumor. Methods By using radiochemistry, CA125 concentration in serum was measured in 67 patients with malignant ovarian tumor, 62 patients with benign ovarian tumor,20 patients with endometriosis and 18 patients with pelvic inflammation. Results the serum CA125 concentration in malignant ovarian tumor was higher than that in other three groups; The peculiar rate (100%) and sensitive rate (49.25%) of ovarian cancer using serum CA125200u/ml;the serum average CA125 in 12 cases of recurrent ovarian cancer was 203.86u/ml,8 of 12 cases have abnormal CA125(66.66%). Conclusion:It is important to measure serum CA125 for diagnosis of ovarian cancer, and there are some values for recurrent ovarian cancer. But it is not the only measuring method.
