Abstract

Objective To explore a method for primary culture of ectopic endometrial cells from patients with adenomyosis, and to find out a cell model in vitro for pathogenesis of adenomyosis. Methods The ectopic endometrial cells were isolated and purified by enzymolysis, filtration, and pasted wall purification, and identified by immunocytochemistry. Results The achievement ratio of isolating and culturing ectopic endometrial cells was 75.0%.The ectopic endometrial cells included glandular epithelial cell(6.5%),stromal cell(13.3%),and smooth muscle cell(80.2%). Conclusion The ectopic endometrial cells of adenomyosis can be obtained by enzymolysis, filtration and pasted wall purification, but the more purified ectopic glandular epithelial cells cannot be obtained.
