Expression of E-cadherin in Endometrium which Adhere to Human Peritoneum

Objective:To establish a model for culure of human peritoneum and mechanically dispersed endometrium,and observe the expression of E-cadherin in adhered endometrium.Methods: The expression of E-cadherin in eutopic and adhered endometrium were determined by immunohistochemistry method.Results: 1.The expression of E-cadherin in adhesion area is lower than that of eutopic endometrium,the difference was statistically significant(P0.01);2.The expression of E-cadherin in eutopic endometrium in people with endometriosis was lower than people without endometriosis,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusions: The abnormal expression of E-cadherin in adhesion area and eutopic endometrium with endometriosis has close relationship with the etiology of endometriosis.
