Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the pregnancy rates from the Laparoscopy-Histeroscopy operative in management of infertility cases. Design/Data identification: Descriptive. Setting: Subdivision of Reproductive Health Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia. Subject Patients Participants: All of the infertility cases which performed HD-LD in Raden Saleh Clinic in 1992 until 1994. Results: Evaluation was made in 36 infertility cases with the mean age was 33.14 years old and the mean of infertility periode was 3.12 years. HD examination showed 18 cases (50 percent) with endometrium polyp. LD examination showed 26 cases (73 percent) with endometriosis. Diagnostic procedure was continued with operative procedure 16 there was internal genitalia disorder. After that procedure all patient with endometriosis received medical therapy with Danazol 2 x 200 mg for 3-6 months. From 36 infertility cases which perfomed that procedure the pregnancy rates was 33.3 percent the mean periode to become pregnant was 3.5 months. Conclusion: Endometriosis and endometrium polyp were the most often seen in this study and with HD-LD opertive procedure the pregnancy rate was 33.3 perxcent.
