Abstract

Objective:To investigate the approach of laparoscopic operation to treat rectovaginal septum endometriosis.Methods:The clinical data of 8 cases with rectovaginal septum endometriosis were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Seven patients were treated by laparoscopic surgery.1 patient underwent laparoscopic-assisted transvaginal rectovaginal septum nodus resection.The focuses were verified to be rectovaginal septum endometriosis by pathology.The longest follow-up was 2 years.The patients with complete focus ablation had good prognosis,while the patients with incomplete focus abbation had long existence of symptoms.Conclusions:The patients have symptoms such as dysmenorrhea,anus tenesmus,algopareunia and chronic pelvic pain,and must be examined by vagino-recto-abdominal examination and ultrasonic inspection.Operation is the main therapeutic method.The laparoscopic operation and laparoscopic-assisted transvaginal operation are deserved to be applied.
