Abstract
Objective: To investigate the expression of PLGF and VEGFR-1 in endometriosis.Methods: Expression of PLGF and VEGFR-1 in ectopic and eutopic endometrium of endometriosis was assessed by the immuno-histochemistry.Results: Expression of PLGF and VEGFR-1 in ectopic endometrium group were significant higher than that in euptic endometrium group and normal endometrium group.Conclusion: The higher expression of PLGF and VEGFR-1 in ectopic endometrium with endometriosis indicates they may play a important role in the pathophysiology and development of endometriosis.
