Abstract

Objective To explore the serum level of CA125、CEA in patients with ovarian epithelial cancer, ovarian benign and other pelvic benign masses, and its clinical significance. Methods Using the MPL-1 luminescent instrument to detect the serum level of CA125,CEA in serum samples of 218 gynecological patients with pelvic tumor. Results The serum level of CA125 in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, pelvic tuberculosis, adenomyosis, ovarian endometriosis and theca-fiber tumor is higher than the normal one in the median values and average, the serum level of CEA is higher only in patients with ovarian epithelial cancer. Conclusion The serum levels of CA125 and CEA in 25 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer have risen, the mean is 455.6 U/mL、88.3 U/mL and the median value is 340.5 U/mL,78.1 U/mL,There are significant differences(P0.01) compared to other pelvic benign tumors. So they have statistical significance.Bi-detection of serum level of CA125 and CEA will be helpful to the diagnosis and prognosis monitoring between ovarian epithelial cancer and other gynecological benign tumor.
