Abstract

2020, Florida's pandemic experience shows increases coming in summer and holiday waves. COVID-19 infections, emergency department visits, hospitalizations and deaths vary between times, places and populations. Within the growing totals, several themes are beginning to emerge relating to patient age, county voting preferences in 2020 presidential elections, and population race, ethnicity, nativity and age composition.
