Clinical study of surgical treatment combined with hormone replacement therapy for endometriosis

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical value of surgical treatment combined with hormone replacement therapy for endometriosis. Methods Meta-analysis of the clinical data of 87 cases with endometriosis was made, who had received surgical treatment combined with hormone replacement therapy from January, 2003 to November, 2009. All obtained data had been statistically analyzed. Results The symptomatic remission rate and recurrence rate of postoperative medication group was obviously good after six month by using Mifepristone, Gestrinonegroups and Triptorelin Acetate treatment, especially in Triptorelin Acetate group(P0.05). Conclusion Surgical treatment is the main way to treat the endometriosis. Postoperative therapeutic alliance by using Mifepristone, Gestrinonegroups and Triptorelin Acetate treatment has the better therapeutic efficacy, and can cut down the recurrence rate and increase pregnancy rate after operation obviously. Triptorelin Acetate especially has benefit to endometriosis.
