Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacty of radio frequency(RFHC) and its effects on fertility in nulliparous women with uterine benign diseases such as leiomyoma, adenomyoma, adenomyosis, endometrial polyp and cervical columnar ectopy(CCE) Ⅱ,Ⅲ degree. Methods Patients with uterine leiomyoma(34),adenomyoma(22),adenomyosis(16),endometrial polyp(21),Ⅱ degree(382) and Ⅲ degree(151) of CCE,were treated by a special heat coagulator with local temperature. Then the pathologic endometrium, leiomyoma or adenomyoma tissues were heat coagulated. Results The efficacy of RFHC was 94.1% in leiomyoma of uterus,90.9% in adenomyoma,87.5% in adenomyosis,100.0% in endometrial polyp and 100% in CCE.After the treatment, the pregnance rate was 79.4%,82.0% and 56.3% for leiomyoma, adenomyoma and adenomyosis, respectively. Conclusion RFHC is a simple, safe, fast, effective and repeatable method to nulliparous women with benign uterine diseases and it is not harmful to fertility.
