Abstract

Treatment of obstructing ureteral endometriosis has previously required castrating surgery to prevent recurrence. Danazol therapy alone has been unsuccessful in many patients because of subsequent ureteral fibrosis. We report a case in which percutaneous nephrostomy drainage and ureteral dilatation complemented danazol therapy in alleviating an obstructing ureteral lesion secondary to endometriosis.
