Study of the expression of EDAG-1 gene in the tissue of endometriosis

Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship of EDAG-1 gene and the mechanisms of endometriosis.Methods The expression of EDAG-1 gene was investigated in chocolate cyst tissue of the ovary and normal endometrial tissue by RT-PCR.Results The expression of EDAG-1 was detected in 13 cases of normal endometrial tissue and 17 cases of chocolate cyst tissue of the ovary,the positive rates of EDAG-1 were 23%(3/13)and 58.8%(10/17)respectively.Conclusion The expression of EDAG-1 may be related with the mechanisms of endometriosis.
