Clinical observation of 60 cases of uterine myomata and endometrioma by uterine arterial embolization

Objective To assess the clinical effects and side effects of uterine arterial embolization(UAE) on uterine myomata and endometrioma.Methods UAE was performed on 60 patients with uterine myomata or endometrioma,the effects were investigated.All patients were followed up at 3,6,12,24,36 month postoperatively to observe the changes of clinical symptoms and uterine myomata size.Results 93.33% of the clinical symptoms patients were relieved.The size of uterine myomata decreased.Conclusion UAE is an effective method for decreasing the size of myomata and uterine.
