Abstract
Objective:To explore the inhibiting effect of Endostar on the growth of ectopic endometrium and the mechanism, provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment of endometriosis with Endostar. Methods:The nude mouse models of endometriosis were established by abdominal implantation method;the mice were divided into Endostar group and control group randomly at 3 weeks after modeling,15 mice in each group;the mice in Endostar group were treated with intraperitoneal injection of Endostar;after treatment, the changes of ectopic endometrium were observed;the serum samples and peritoneal fluid samples were obtained to detect the levels of VEGF and TNF-α. Results:The levels of cytokines in Endostar group were significantly lower than those in control group(P0.05),atrophy of endometrial glands were observed. Conclusion:Endostar inhibits the level of VEGF significantly, and then, the growth of blood vessels in endometrium is inhibited;thereby,Endostar can achieve the purpose of endometriosis treatment.
