Abstract

Abstract The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) scheme offers efficient spectrum use and simple frequency domain equalization. Instead of a bank of modulators or demodulators, the OFDM system can be implemented using the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) or FFT. The OFDM system can also be implemented using the Inverse Fast Walsh Hadamard Transform (IFWHT) or the Fast Walsh Hadamard Transform (FWHT). In this article, we use IFWHT and FWHT to implement the OFDM implementation. Following that, a suggestion for a Joint Low-Complexity Regularized Zero Forcing-Successive Interference Cancellation (JLCRZF-SIC) equalizer is made. With a low-complexity implementation, the suggested equalizer conducts both equalization and Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) correction procedures. The simulation results reveal that the suggested equalizer plays a significant role in comparison to the traditional one.
