Abstract

The pain is one of the typical symptoms of endometriosis and adenomyosis, and its repeated attack is difficult to treat. The mechanism of the pain is unknown. The non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs and hormone drugs are the primary drugs used in clinic, but their poor effect and side-effects need to be improved. In order to find better therapeutic methods, many researchers concentrated on the mechanism of the pain. The pain related factors such as nerve fibers, nerve nutrient factors, oxytocin receptor and capsicin receptor became the research hotspot. This article is aimed to review the published literatures that demonstrated the pain related factors in endometriosis and adenomyosis.
