Abstract

SummaryA case of Candida peritonitis in a female CAPD patient is described. The patient was known to have retrograde menstruation and peritonitis developed after insertion of an IUD during a period of fungal vaginitis. It is believed that this peritonitis was the result of an ascending Candida infection of the genital tract.
