Abstract

Endometriosis,a common and complicated disease in gynecology,is characterized by strong invasiveness, wide implant and easy recurrence. At present, its pathogenesis is still not clear and there is no satisfactory therepy,so it has become a hot issue in gynecology research.Matrix metalloproteinase(MMPs) is group of Zincum-proteinases which catalyze most of the extracellular matrix and all kind of collagen; tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases(TIMPs)can inhibitMMPs production and activity, The balance of MMPsand TIMPs play important role in maintain the stabilization and framework integrity of extracellular matrix
