Utilizing a phenomenological research design, the research aimed to delve into the lived experiences of early married women, unraveling the intricacies of their journeys and shedding light on the consequences of early marriages on psychological wellbeing. Purposive sampling strategy was employed to select women who married between the ages of 18–20 and in-depth semi- structured interviews were conducted to glean insights regarding the psychological wellbeing of early married women. Through thematic analysis, six main themes emerged: personal control and balance, impact on personal growth and education, psychological and emotional well-being, marital relationship dynamics, social and cultural influences and support systems.
