Abstract
Results: The S-W model achieved higher accuracy than the SIMDual-Kc model in simulating the evapotranspiration and plant transpiration of the Jujube forest, but both models met the simulation requirements, are effective tools for estimating the evapotranspiration in Jujube forests .The applicable parameter settings of the SIMDual-Kc model for the Jujube forest in arid zones were: base crop coefficient Kcb = 0.18, 0.7, 0.7; evaporation layer depth Ze = 0.15 m, total evaporation water TEW = 18 mm, easy evaporation water REW = 9 mm, soil water consumption ratio p = 0.5. The appropriate parameter settings of the S-W model were: a1 = 6.9445, g0 = 0.0439, b2 = 4.6041, b3 = 957.1106, and an extinction coefficient of 0.4508. The results provide a theoretical basis for formulating reasonable irrigation systems and irrigation decisions for the Jujube forests in arid zones.
