A generalisation of Pythagoras’ theorem

Abstract

We provide a generalisation of Pythagoras’ theorem, which enables us to calculate the absolute value of a hypersurface of arbitrary dimensions in terms of its projections. For a one dimensional hyperplane the theorem reduces to Pythagoras’ theorem.
