Endometriosis diagnosis methods and reagents
OA: closed
Abstract
A method for determining the presence of endometriosis in a patient comprises contacting a sample from the patient with an anti-(endometriosis) antibody, antigen, or endometriosis antiidiotype antibody, and determining binding of antibody or antigen with a component of the sample. The patient sample can be a fluid sample such as a blood serum sample, or it can be a tissue sample or cell smear. Reagents and immunoassay kits for determining endometriosis are described.
