Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and significance of tissue factor( TF) in endometriosis( EM). Methods Immunohistochemical streptavidin biotin peroxidase method was applied to examine the expression of TF in 60 cases of ectopic and eutopic endometrium from EM patients and 18 cases of normal endometrium. Results The positive expression rates of TF in ectopic endometrium were,respectively,80. 0%,which were significantly higher than those in normal endometrium( 11. 1%) in eutopic endometrium( 23. 3%)( P 0. 01). Conclusion Abnormal expression of TF plays an important role in the development of endometriosis.
