Abstract

Skin endometriosis is a rare condition. However, its recognition is important in the differential diagnosis of skin malignancy especially in black patients. To our knowledge, it has not been reported in the Sudan nor in Africa at large. We report a case of skin endometriosis that could only be diagnosed histologically. The patient presented with three small nodules arising from the umbilicus spreading in different directions to involve the skin around it.
