Mass Screening for Gynaecological Diseases in 854 Female Crew Members Working on Passenger Train

Objective To study the status of gynaecological diseases in female crew members(FCM) working on passenger train in Kunming Railway Administration(KRA) .Methods 854 FCMs working on passenger train in KRA were individually inquired about the medical history,and were given routine gynecologic examination,mammary gland inspection,and auxiliary examination.Results The major gynaecological diseases against female health among FCMs in KRA included hyperplasia of lobules of mammary glands,genital infection,and hysteromyoma and/or adenomyosis,and the prevalence rates differ among different age groups.Conclusion FCMs’responsibility for their health should be enhanced,and considering different age groups,other comprehensive measures for disease prevention and health care should be established to ensure FCMs’health.
