Abstract

Cancer is a commonly occurring disease, rising worldwide, so need to be a better approach for the world to cure this disease. Various risk factors effect incidence prevalence of cancer. Specialized metabolites from medicinal plants are promising alternative method available against those expensive methods available in the market. Treatment of cancer using plant products is an alternative and safe option. Studies have proven phytomolecules as important in preventing/treating cancer using several cell lines including blood, breast, colon, oral cancer cell lines etc. Some of the leads have been authenticated and validated in animal models also. Nanoparticles have been attempted as a novel, precised and safe option for various diseases. NPs have unique physical and chemical properties which provide unique applications in diseases prevention including anticancer. Newer approaches such as phyto-nanocarriers have been considered even more selective and effective in managing the cancer and could become an affective cancer phytotheraputics.
