Abstract
The dosage and advantages of the estrogen Nu-Estro with B-complex vi tamins with intrinsic factor Vetatrin in treating endometriosis are discussed. Atrophy of endometriosis was in 6 weeks to 3 months with no withdrawal flooding. In addition there was partial atrophy of fibromyomas and adenomyomas and a lowering of vaginal pH to 3.5-3.9. The B-complex with intrinsic factor acts to cause complete estrogenic metabolism and aids in the atrophy of endometriosis and helps combat the estrogen-induced nausea. Endometriosis pain is quickly relieved and patients are made amenorrheic and also become anovulatory. The dosage schedule involves increasing the amount of estrogen weekly for 4 weeks and maintaining the high dosage for 6 weeks to 3 months until the endometriosis has atrophied. Estrogen should be gradually reduced. B-complex vitamins are taken concurrently and increased in the event of nausea. This therapy should not be used in cases of malignancy.
