Abstract
Background: The escalating numbers of fatalities have been owing to the non-availability of any SARS-COV-2 vaccine. Presently, SARS-COV-2 vaccine has been made applicable but it is greatly argumentative. Objective: To comprehending the rationale of SARS-COV-2 vaccine shilly-shally among health care workers in Oromia regional state, Ethiopia: A cross-sectional online-based study.Methods: An online based cross sectional study design was carried out from April 18, 2021 to June 19, 2021. Data was collected through employing online questioner, and then the collected data were coded and analyzed by statistical packages for social sciences 25.0 version statistical software. Results: There were a total of 422 health care workers who completed the online survey. The majority of the health care workers were males (n=234, 55.5%), urban resident (n=396, 93.8%), protestant (n=168, 39.8%), and married (n=232, 55.0%). The overall rate of SARS-COV-2 vaccine shilly-shally among HCWs were (n= 294, 69.7%). Concerning factors make it hard for healthcare workers to get SARS-COV-2 vaccine conspiracy theories,Conclusion and Recommendations: The overall rate of SARS-COV-2 vaccine shilly-shally among HCWs was high. Oromia regional states health bureau should have to escalate the apprehensive of health care workers about covid-19 vaccine through bestowing the adequate training for all HCWsFunding Information: None.Declaration of Interests: The author has no financial or proprietary interest in any of material discussed in this article.Ethics Approval Statement: The study was commenced after approved by health research ethical review committee of health research directorate of Oromia regional health bureau (Ref: BEFO/ HBTFHQQF/1-9/2011). All the HCWs were informed about the intentions of the study, and they agreed and signed a consent form before participation.
