We aimed to understand how p38 MAPK deficiency impacts metabolic function in inflamed hPDLFs treated with P.g - LPS. CCK − 8, cell scratches, in vitro immunohistochemistry, etc. were used. A p38 MAPK inhibitor regulated cellular metabolism, and real - time PCR and western blot analyzed the P38 MAPK pathway's effect on metabolism. P.g - LPS - treated hPDLFs had metabolic reconfiguration with increased MMP − 1, 2, 3. Adding p38 MAPK inhibitors lessened P.g - LPS's harm and decreased metabolic recombination. Phosphorylated MMPs and p38 MAPK expression were reduced in inhibitor - treated hPDLFs. Blocking the P38 MAPK pathway reduces LPS - induced inflammation by altering metabolism, offering a new periodontal therapy approach.
