Abstract

This chapter presents the application of the Race-Based Traumatic Stress Model to the area of Forensic and Legal Assessment. A procedure for racial trauma assessment is provided, including the use of the Race-Based Traumatic Stress Symptom Scale as an important quantitative approach to examining the psychological impact of exposure to racist event.
