Abstract

Objectives: The article was to demonstrate the advantage, indication, operation focus, the practical value of a modified technique of Laparoscopic Extracorporeal Oophorectomy, in operating comparison with the one under the complete laparoscopy. Methods: From January, 2002 to April, 2003, 110 operations had been done with laparoscopy. Out of them 74 cases were done with the modified laparoscopy. Results: The operating time of reformed group was (40.14 ±11.12)min, The average carbon dioxide insufflation′s time was (10.11±2.56)min, the amount of bleeding was (8.35±5.70)ml, the average exhausting time was (1.73±0.45) days. It was significantly in contrasts with the control group with the average operating time of (62.50±20.23)min, average carbon dioxide insufflation′s was (57.50±17.23)min, the amount of bleeding was (27.22±13.73)ml, the average exhausting time was (1.89±0.32) days (P 0.01). Conclusion: Laparoscopic Extracorporeal Oophorectomy or cystectomy can perfectly keep the normal ovarian structure., greatly shorten the time of carbon dioxide insufflations, prevent the rupture of the cyst and its liquid leaking, and shorten the time of operation. It is more simple than the bag-picking method.
