Abstract

Pelvic pain is one of the most common presenting complaint in gynecologic cilnic. By analysing data of patients in gynecologic division, Srinagarind Hospital, 33.6% of out-patients and 14.9% of in-patients have pelvic pain as the presenting symptom or chief complaint, The most common cause of acute pelvic pain is acute pelvic inflammatory disease, and of chronic pelvic pain is psychosomatic disorders.
