Diagnosis and treatment of ureteral endometriosis

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of ureteral endometriosis.Methods The clinical data of 5 women with ureteral endometriosis that happened in the recent 7 years were analyzed retrospectiv- ely.Results 5 cases were treated surgically.Postoperative pathological findings confirmed the diagnosis of ureteral endometriosis.The hydronephrosis and urinary obstruction disappeared one week after the operations.Conclusion The symptoms of urology during the menstruation.B-ultrasound and KUB+IVP can contribute to the diagnosis of ureteral endometriosis.The treatment of operation can relieve the urinary obstruction.
