To achieve these objectives, a series of comprehensive field activities were carried out by georeferencing well locations, and user reported information such as well diameter, total depth, and screen length. Field measurements of water quality parameters; including pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, and temperature—were conducted to evaluate the chemical characteristics of groundwater at surveyed area. Images of well heads were taken and documented for further investigations. Furthermore, the potential for selecting wells for future detailed study was assessed through criteria such as potentiality of groundwater resources, location and accessibility, landowner cooperation, and physical characteristics of the wells, particularly diameter and depth. This survey provides critical baseline data that incorporate water quality of groundwater in the area and serves as a foundational step toward informed groundwater resource management and a sustainable solution to mitigate water scarcity on targeted hydrogeological investigation on Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
