Thinking errors

Abstract
One of the main goals of client counseling and therapy is to manage the client's own thoughts, regulate emotions, and implement appropriate, adaptive behaviors. Managing thoughts from these three areas of therapeutic intervention is the most difficult and important. A person's inner conversation with himself influences his behavior, interpersonal relationships, attitudes towards himself, others and the world in general. Often these thoughts are irrational and inaccurate, and their belief causes problems in the personal, interpersonal, and professional spheres. The article reviews some of the thinking errors and the means of detecting them.
