The expression of cyclinA and p27 protein in adenomyosis and its significance

Abstract

Objective To determine expression of Cell cycle protein A(CyclinA) and Cell cycle inhibitor (P27) in the entopic endometrial glandular epithelium cells raised in vitro, to explore the relations of CyclinA with p27 protein and the incidence of adenomyosis. Methods To detect quantitatively CyclinA and p27 with western-blot method in entopic endometrial glandular epithelium cell of adenomyosis case group and the control group (uterine fibroids). Results CyclinA expression in endometrial glandular epithelium cell of adenomyosis is higher(P 0.05), p27 is lower than that in the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion The incidence of adenomyosis may be associated with abnormal cell growth and alteration of proliferation activity caused by out-of-control of cell cycle regulation.
