Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine the characteristics of clinical presentation of fibrocystic breast disease in patients with hyperplastic processes of the uterus, the role of proand antioxidant systems violations in the development of its proliferative forms. The main group patients with fibrocystic breast disease and combined hyperplastic processes of the uterus (CHPU) the simultaneous detection of uterine fibroids, adenomyosis and common typical endometrial hyperplasia, the comparison group patients with fibrocystic breast disease and isolated uterine myoma, a control group patients with fibrocystic breast disease in the absence of pathology of endoand myometrium. The results: fibrocystic breast dusease occurs at a higher frequency in patients with CHPU and such clinical symptoms of fibrocystic breast disease as mastalgia occurs significantly more often and is more intensive in women with CHPU. The relative 5?year risk of developing of breast cancer calculated by Gale model in women with CHPU is higher than in women with isolated uterine myoma and patients without pathology of endoand myometrium, this fact is also confirmed by the more frequent detection of proliferative forms of fibrocystic breast disease in this group of patients. The fibrocystic breast disease and hyperplastic processes of the uterus are accompanied by severe disturbances at all levels of antioxidant protection in the similar way, this may indicate to the general pathogenetic mechanisms of cell proliferation. When fibrocystic breast disease accompanies CHPU antioxidant protection mechanisms are much more failed even in condition of the intensification of total antioxidant and antiradical activities.
