As the third generation of aromatase inhibitor,letrozole has been used widely in the sphere of tumor.In recent years,studies accumulated showed that letrozole had been used in several clinical diseases of gynecology and obstetrics with good perspective.It affects synthesis of E2 and then lower the E2 level in the body by inhibiting the activity of aromatase,obstructing the transformation of A and T to E2.It had good therapeutic effect on pelvic endometriosis,myoma of uterus,endometrial cancer,ovary cancer and so on.It can be applied in the field of assisted reproduction because of its effect on ovarian stimulation.
