Abstract

In [9], Kemeklis proved that every positive integer f is a fertility number for a consecutive length 3 pattern-avoiding stack-sorting map. We build upon this work and prove that every positive integer f is a fertility number for a stack-sorting map that avoids any set of two consecutive length 3 patterns. In this paper, we call the set of two length 3 patterns the twin-pattern.
