Abstract
Objective: To find the clinical result, safety and by-reaction occurrence of treating endometriosis with DMPA. Methods: The clinical information of 44 cases of endometriosis were firstly injected with 150 mg of DMPA in the first five days of their menstruation period, and at interval of 90±7 days for half year to observe their menorrhalgia, the focus of infection and changes of endocrine. Results: Menorrhalgia occurrence rate descended to 13. 64% after medicine and the cysts, nodules had reduced to 3. 12 cm2 and 1. 05 cm2. The statistical analysis showed significant difference (P0. 01,P0. 05) .Conclusion: To cure endometriosis with DMPA is safe and has less side effect.
