Gynecological bleeding (arteriovenous malformation) (case report)

Abstract Background: Vascular uterine malformations are rare and are only mentioned in the medical literature (AVMS), which is classified into congenital and acquired. In recent years, an increase in the incidence and recurrence of acquired arteriovenous malformations has been observed following pregnancies, miscarriages, and cesarean sections. Case Presentation: A patient (35 years old), resident of Damascus, Mezzeh, married for (5) years, has no children, has a normal, sparse sexual life due to her main complaint, which is spontaneous vaginal bleeding, which increases and appears profuse after intercourse. Before marriage, she suffered from menstrual cycles. Heavy, with increased menstrual bleeding during stress, fatigue, and exercise, hemoglobin 8, and after applying the treatment 10, the rest of the laboratory tests were normal, it turned out to be an abnormal case of bleeding. It was diagnosed using color and pulsed Doppler. Modern and advanced radiological methods were used. Doppler, CT, and resonance imaging reported the diagnosis of the case. The patient did not benefit from conservative routine treatment, and it was noted. Patient's response to interventional radiology. Conclusion: Any bleeding outside the period should not be neglected, and a Doppler should be used and a hand examination should be performed. Radial expert in Doppler techniques.
