Abstract
While vaccination has been demonstrated to reduce disease severity and mortality of COVID-19, safety concern has always been the major issue of vaccine hesitancy. The cases in this report underline the rare but plausible association of newly diagnosed systemic lupus erythematosus in the genetically susceptible population after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Further large-scale well-controlled investigation is warranted.
