Research on the Relationship Between Endometriosis and the Chinese Medicine Constitutions

Objectives:To investigate the constitutional type of the women suffering from endometriosis(EM)and normal women and conclude its special physical types,so as to prevent endometriosis and provide the basis for individualized treatment.Methods:The physical scale was used to investigate the endometriosis patients and normal healthy females,the system decision criteria was according to the determined constitutional type,then statistical software SPSS17.0 was used to analyze the data.Results:It has significant differences in structures between the two groups:EM patients and normal women.There was no statistical differences among the three groups:blood-stasis type,dampness-heat type,blood-stasis and dampness-heat.Conclusions:The stage of EM patients is the reproductive period.The incidence of EM is related to blood-stasis type and dampness-heat type.
