The Problems of Distance Learning English at University in the Context of COVID-19

In the paper the problems of distance learning foreign languages at the university are presented. The author brings the defintions of key terms relating to the distane learning. The role of using distance learning strategies, methods and tehnologies in the context of the coronavirus is considered. The researcher enumerates the problems of distance learning English, analyzes them, and proposes the solution of these problems by using digital technologies. Special focus is given to the peculiarities of the organization of the distance learning process.
