Abstract
A subjective and objective assessment of the severity of the adhesive process in the abdominal cavity was carried out in 50 women with severe endometriosis. Subjective assessment of the degree of adhesions was 3 (3:3) points – severe. An objective assessment of the degree of adhesive process according to R-AFS was 8 (7:9) points, which corresponded to stage II of the disease. PAI was 23.5 (16:29) points – severe adhesive process. The subjective assessment of pelvic the degree of adhesions in women with severe endometriosis coincided with the objective assessments of R-AFS and PAI. Perhaps these results are due to the experience of the surgeon who performed the surgery. Despite the results obtained, endometriosis surgery should be guided by studies based on the design of a higher level of evidence (level evidence), indicating the effectiveness of more accurate and objective methods for assessing the degree of adhesions in the abdominal cavity.
