Book Review The Minimality-Opacity Paradox
preprint
OA: closed
Abstract
This preprint provides an in-depth analysis of the phenomenological dimensions of minimal phenomenal experiences (MPEs) as characterized in Thomas Metzinger's The Elephant and the Blind. By synthesizing insights from Metzinger’s work and a state-space model of abstraction and opacity, this review challenges current paradigms in consciousness studies, offering theoretical and empirical directions for exploring MPEs.
