This study is based on the Economic consequences and the impacts due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Present world is severely threatening by the COVID-19. And it has become an exposure COVIDthe human life cause to be death. It discussed on the Sri Lankan development until this pandemic and how it was drastically influenced on the economy, export, import, earnings and tourism. Moreover, this pandemic highly hits with the GDP, employment, inflation, stock market, external sector performance and poverty in Sri Lanka as well. Due to this pandemic most of the developed countries were knelt down in front of COVID-19. Most powerful countries like USA, China. India severely detects by this pandemic. Large number of dead bodies were scattered all over the world. Nearly two years have been continuing with the pandemic.Economic of the country of drastically drop down and the fields of economic earning too goes bad. Tourism dropped down and also the exportation and importations also faced on this. The income of the families was threatening by the pandemic due to the lockdown and shut down of the country. Poverty arose with the lose of income and ironically it effects on the economic also. So, the economic expertise revealed that the country should stand on with the pandemic under safety precautions. If not the none of us can avoid the economic depression. By taking actions without delaying makes to avoid a huge disaster. All should consider to control this further.
